UX User Interface Design Graphic Design App Design

February 2019 - March 2019

I worked on this project in a group of four in the master course Structural Methods for User Experience (UX). The project consists of the process of creating a prototype application for an automated cat door. The purpose and goal of the project were producing a prototype that meets the needs and requirements of the set target group. The target group consisted of cat owners who want to be able to use an application as an aid to have extra control over their cat. To specify the target group's needs and requirements, the group performed a field study, in which wishes on the application's functions emerged. The prototype created met the needs of the target group by allowing the cat owner to regulate the cat's outdoor habits according to both the cat and the cat owner's preference. Finally, the project resulted in a user-friendly prototype with a stylish and easy-to-use design.
